What is MINIs Take Vermont?
MINIs Take Vermont, Inc. is a volunteer-based 501(c)(7) social club that hosts an annual, multi-day event called MINIs Take Vermont (MTVT) every fall in different parts of Vermont. MINI enthusiasts from all across the US and Canada enjoy coordinated rallies and group dinners while supporting the local community.
The MTVT event schedule:
-
Thursday Evening: Welcome Reception Dinner
-
Friday Morning: Rallies lineup and launch together
-
Friday Night: Campfire & beer swap
-
Saturday Morning: Rallies lineup and launch together
-
Saturday Evening: Farewell Dinner & Charity Fundraiser
-
Sunday Morning: Most people head home but some continue exploring Vermont
Our Rally Team plans upwards of eight, full-day rallies for both Friday and Saturday that offer twisty roads, unique points of interest, and lunch stops. Members enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, hot cocoa & donuts (Friday only) before rallies launch each day. Thursday's Welcome Reception and Saturday's Farewell Dinner are completely optional but tickets must be purchased in advance.
If you're on the fence about attending, check out our Facebook group that has over 1,300 people and see why our members continue to come back year-after-year. Enjoy the rallies and build lasting friendships while exploring all that Vermont has to offer - from covered bridges to mountain passes, maple syrup to cider donuts - this event should not be missed!
Proudly Supporting Our Local Community
Proceeds from the 2025 fundraiser will go to the Vermont Natural Resources Council (VNRC). Their mission is to protect and enhance Vermont’s natural environments, communities, landscapes, and help prepare the state for future challenges and opportunities.
The 2024 Charity Fundraiser raised $3,716 for the Lamoille Community Food Share, a non-profit group of volunteers dedicated to providing food security for our friends and neighbors in and around Lamoille County, VT.
MTVT has donated over $10,000 to Vermont-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations since 2019. Previous year's charities have included the Okemo Valley Disaster Relief Fund, Vermont Covered Bridge Society, Groundworks Collaborative, and Windham County Humane Society.
